This week I’ve started week 3 of my C25K challenge. It was a bit more challenging this time stretching the jogging intervals to 90 seconds and then 3 minutes. The time was less , 28 minutes instead of 31. It must be a way of putting variety into the session.
Here are my results
Less time and I still got over 4km. So I’m happy about that .
I survived 10 minutes on the dreaded stair machine… really I hate it but to build up my butt muscles it’s the best.
Sticking to my goal…
It’s been over a week since I’ve been to the gym but I’m back on track 😊.
I’ve been slack at posting this week gone by.
I went to Bali for work and took bf with me, it started off amazing, then went sour for a tiny bit. After some communication we were back on the wonderful and amazing track of love ❤️.
I’ve been on a high ever since. So happy.
I’ve also slacked off with the gym, can’t believe it’s been a week since I’ve run in a treadmill 😐.
It’s getting harder but I’m sticking to it.
I did my 30 min jog/walk and it felt so much harder than the first day. I still got to 4km and I did it at higher levels this time jog 10.5 and walk 7.
I’m following Discovering Your Happiness and she has a fitness goal to reach, it’s great to see her get closer and closer to it. So, I decided to follow suit.
My goal is to run (or at least jog) 5 km in 8 weeks. I have downloaded the C25K app (couch to 5k) and I started it yesterday. I got to 4km on the treadmill in 30mins jog/walk 1min/90secs with 4 minutes warm up at the beginning (which I ran :)) and 4 minutes cool down. My average speed was 7.25km/hr.
My aim is for fitness not weight loss, I may (see I said “may”) try a charity event some time in the near future.
Super easy meal tonight.
Porterhouse steak with mixed vegetables.
Red kidney beans
I cook my steak for 5 1/2 mins turning every 30 seconds on medium high heat. Vegetables are popped into a pan , mushrooms first until they get colour, red kidney beans next , then cherry tomatoes until warm. Add baby spinach last cook until spinach is slightly wilted( you don’t want to lose all the good stuff).
